Chinese Mushroom Steak (v)

So this piece of food might need a little bit of explanation, as a vegetarian I always am looking for meat substitutes and steak was one I really needed to find. So I did, but I put a Chinese twist on it. Let's get to it//

Ingredients:

Full Mushrooms (large or small)

Kung Pao/ Orange Sauce

Olive Oil

Thai Seasoning

Crushed Red Pepper

Directions:

1. Ok, so first you want to wash and clean the mushrooms. In order to do this use a wet paper towel to wipe the mushroom tops and scrape the gills out.

2. So when it comes to cooking the mushrooms I used a grill press. But if you don't have a grill press, you can pan fry the mushroom too. Before you cook the mushrooms make sure to brush some oil on the top and bottom (the grill press will drain this oil).

3. Wait a little while for the mushrooms to cook.

4. Remove mushrooms from press and plate them

5. Brush the Kung Pao or Orange sauce on the mushrooms.

6. Then, sprinkle the thai seasoning and crushed pepper on the the sauce.

7. Plate, and eat:)
