Easy Salted Carmel Crinkle Cookies


Description: Cookies are now a classic in the baking world, they fail to impress. So here is a new spin that is super easy but also super impressive. Unless everyone reads this and this becomes a classic. Ok, I am getting ahead of myself.

Makes around 15 cookies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup confectioners sugar

1 2/3 cup all-purose flour

1/2 cup salted carmel hot chocolate powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter at room temperature

1 1/8 cup cup sugar

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 F

2. In a medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients

3. In a bigger bowl, beat the butter and sugar (preferably with an electric mixer) until creamy and smooth

4. Add 1 egg to the bigger bowl and continue beating

5. Then add the other egg and vanilla to the larger bowl and continue mixing

6. Then stop beating, and add the flour mixture

7. Once the two mixtures are completely mixed form the dough into round balls and roll them in the confectioners sugar

8. Flatten the cookies a little and then lay cookies on a greased pan

8. Put cookies in oven for 10-12 minutes

9. Let cookies cool for 15 minutes
